New Place of Service Code 27 – Outreach Site/Street
The Place of Service Committee recently created new place of service code 27, Outreach Site/Street, which will be effective October 1, 2023. At this time, Medicare won’t use this code in claims processing. Any claims submitted with this code will be returned to the supplier after processing by the DME MAC. See the instruction to your Medicare Administrative Contractor
